“Community” is the most overused word in coliving. Ours means four specific things, all of which happen whether or not you go looking for them.

Lisbon does not stop at the front door
Half of what makes a year here is what happens outside the house, the surf twenty minutes down the coast at Carcavelos, the Sunday market at Feira da Ladra, the first warm evening when every rooftop in the city fills at once.
Our hosts organise the trips that are hard to do alone when you have just landed and know nobody: surf lessons, day trips to Sintra, dinners that start as a house thing and end as forty people. Turn up to one and you have a group for the rest of the year.
