Where to live if you study at UAL

UAL is at Palácio dos Condes do Redondo on Rua de Santa Marta, a few minutes uphill from the avenue. Our Avenida rooms are the closest we have, an eight-minute walk, and Marquês de Pombal and Saldanha are both a short metro ride.

Living on or near the avenue means the centre is on foot: Baixa, Chiado and Príncipe Real are all within twenty minutes, and the blue line covers whatever the walk does not.

It is a good fit for students who want a central, grown-up part of the city rather than a student quarter, Avenida is theatres and kiosks rather than campus bars.
