How to read it

Three things worth knowing before you filter

The price is the price

Water, electricity, gas and wifi are included in the price, within a fair-use allowance, along with cleaning of the shared areas. A room advertised elsewhere for less usually has those on top, which in winter is not a small difference. Compare final numbers, not headline ones.

Dates move more than prices

Only 3 of our 421 rooms are free today; the rest have a date attached. If your move is months out, that is normal and you are in the right window. If it is next week, widen the neighbourhood filter first.

A double room is for one person

A double room is designed for one person. It is named for the bed, not the occupancy, and it is our most common room. Couples can also take one for an extra fee: talk to our team.

FAQ

Questions about finding a room

How do I find a room in Lisbon that fits my budget?
Set the budget slider to what you can spend and the list narrows to what you can actually have. Every price on this page is the final monthly figure (water, electricity, gas, high-speed wifi and cleaning of the common areas are already inside it) so there is nothing to add on afterwards. Rooms start at €440 and the median is €675.
Are these rooms really available?
Yes. The 421 rooms here come from our booking platform and were last checked on 8 Oct 2026. Each card links to that room on the platform, where you can see the current dates and book it. Most rooms free up between semesters rather than today, which is why the move-in filter matters more than people expect.
Do I need a Portuguese guarantor or a local bank account?
No, for any room here. That requirement is the usual dead end in the ordinary Lisbon rental market and it is the main reason people arriving from abroad come to us. The booking is completed online from wherever you are.
Can I book for one semester?
Yes. Semester and academic-year contracts are standard, alongside month-to-month stays. There is no mandatory twelve-month lease.
What is the difference between a single, a double and a twin room?
A single is a private bedroom with one bed. A double is a private bedroom with a double bed, despite the name, it is for one person, and it is our most common room. A twin has two separate beds and is designed to be shared by two people who already know each other, which makes it the cheapest way in per person.

Found one? Book it before it goes

Rooms near the campuses go first, especially before the September and February intakes. Booking is completed online, no guarantor, no local bank account, no viewing required.
